Removing 'Little' Stains Can Make a 'BIG' Difference!
When it comes to animal odors and stains,
there are no “little problems”
Many people have small dogs today because they like the comfort of “lap dogs”. Such family members (make no mistake, these pets are perceived to be family members by your customers, and don't forget it!) will sometimes out of a lack of house training, out of spite, or due to illness, urinate on the carpet, upholstery, and area rugs.
These small “accidents” do not always penetrate into the carpet backing and cushion, but if left unattended, can leave stains and some odor.
For stains that have not penetrated deeply, a quick way of removing most of the stain and odor at the same time would be the use of UnDuzIt Unleashed. "Unleashed" is a unique product that contains both oxidizing agents for stain removal, as well as enzymes and odor encapsulants to attack the urine odor.
#1. - Low Volume of Urine Residue:
When there is a light deposit of urine that is just in the carpet yarns, you won't need subsurface extraction to flood and flush urine residues from underneath the carpet backing and cushion. A light spray of UnDuzIt Unleashed will suffice to remove the staining material on the surface. If the stain is severe, allow about an hour for the oxidizer in UnDuzIt Unleashed to remove the stain. During this time, clean other rooms and areas of the carpet.
#2. - Low Penetration Potential:
Single deposits from a small dog will likely remain in the carpet tufts, or the primary backing at worst. These areas will respond well to a surface application of UnDuzIt Unleashed
How to use UnDuzIt Unleashed for "Minor Mishaps"
Step #1.- Apply Prior To Cleaning:
All urine stain removers that use oxidation, both those with peroxide as a component as well as UnDuzIt Unleashed, need time to work. By applying the product first, before you do anything else in the home, it gives the product time to both remove the stain and the odor before you begin to clean the area. You may choose to inject some UnDuzIt Unleashed or use a subsurface extraction tool if you think there is any possibility that the urine may have soaked into the carpet cushion.
Step #2. - Apply After Cleaning:
If any stains remain, apply a peroxide based urine stain remover to those areas, and do not extract it. These products do not leave a residue that promotes re-soiling, and in many cases the remainder of the stain will be gone later that day.

SUMMARY:
As with any time your customer needs urine stain or odor removal, you should always inspect first with an UV light and moisture sensor to be absolutely certain you find all the stains and odor sources, not just the ones your customer pointed out to you.
Such inspections should be offered free of charge to any customer who owns pets; you might be surprised how many don't notice minor stains (some attract soil and look like “dirty spots”) and who are unaware of the odor.
Rather than pointing out odor (which may embarrass your customer), your use of the UV light and moisture sensor will point out the stains “visually”, which is not as embarrassing as telling your customer that you notice an odor in their home.
