Not standing out in today's rapidly changing marketplace?
Wondering what you can do about it?

You may have the solutions your prospects are looking for,
but how will they find you in this rapidly changing marketplace?

The real secret is to make sure that whatever services you provide perform exceptionally well, so that the results really  “stand out!” One basic attitude that can ruin a service business owner's measurement of success is the mistaken belief that they (or anyone else) can be perfect!

The truth is, perfection simply does not exist! If you're the type of person who is always searching for perfection, or expecting it in others, it's extremely important that you learn to accept less than perfect and be satisfied with it.

We call it having "Realistic Expectations"!

Offer something unique and communicate the uniqueness to your ideal customer list, and you will build long-lasting relationships with them!

Following are 7 reasons why you may not be doing that:

7 Reasons Your Cleaning Business May Be Struggling&##x21;
**#1 - Perhaps You Aren't Marketing Consistently?

Do you work on marketing your business only in your spare time?
Do you only look for new marketing tactics when your sales drop?

Marketing must be an ongoing, consistent activity!

You need to constantly interact with your ideal market and spread the word about the unique values that you provide.
Prioritize your marketing and make it a regular part of operating your business!

**#2 - Perhaps You're Not Sharing Your Knowledge?

You have specialized experience and knowledge doing what you do. You know a great deal more about your cleaning specialties area than your marketplace does!

Are you sharing this expertise with them? Doing this enhances your value really by helping them solve their problems. It also establishes you as an authority in your niche and sets you apart from other cleaning businesses.

**#3 - Perhaps Your Customer Service Is Lacking?

One of the easiest things you can do to stand out is to offer exceptional customer service!
If you provide extraordinary services, this creates a memorable experience that will differentiate you from the average local competition.

Ask yourself:
**
What can you do to go beyond your customer's expectations?
** Is there some way you can better meet your customer's needs
than simply delivering a top-notch service?

**#4 - Perhaps Your Service Offerings Are Too Broad?

Specializing in a specific niche helps you differentiate your capabilities from others that offer similar services.
If offerings are too broad, it's hard to distinguish yourself from the competition!

Choose a particular segment of your customer base, or a highly focused niche and put your resources there. You can become the “go-to” for that particular niche.

**#5 - Perhaps You're Not Addressing Your "Customers Pain Points"?

The best way to get your customers' attention is to address their pain points and offer solutions or helpful information.
The first step is to learn precisely what similar pain points most of your market faces. Do some research and find out what challenges are the most pressing for them that you can help them solve.

 **#6 - Perhaps You're Not Being Yourself?

Are you trying to impress your customer base by pretending you're something you're not? Are you trying to fit in with other cleaning businesses in your niche?

The only way to stand out is to be yourself! Show your authentic personality.
Tell your market what you really stand for. Be vulnerable and share about the challenges you face. By being yourself, you'll stand out and forge authentic connections with your audience.

**#7 – Not Keeping Your Finger on the Pulse of Today's Changing Market?

If you want to stand out in today's rapidly changing marketplace, keep current on trends in the professional cleaning industry as well as your customers' changing needs.
