Get Great Results By Using Social Proof in Your Marketing! (Especially local eMail!)

by Lee Pemberton - eCleanAdvisor.Business Coach

Using social proof involves using local social media to show that you're well known and trusted locally. It's also shows that people who have purchased from you value your services.

FACT! - No matter what specialty cleaning services you offer, your customers are checking social media. People are using social media sites to find solutions for their problems by searching for specialty services, and businesses they can trust. Consumers are increasingly using these sites to locate & connect with local businesses like yours!

Service businesses like yours, or the plumbers, furnace repair shops, lawn services, pet grooming services and others are all found by people who are looking for solutions to their problems by searching local social media first.

If you really want to use social proof to help consumers to find you, check these following six tips carefully:

Get Great Results By Using Social Proof in Your Marketing&##x21;&##xd;&##xa;&##x28;Especially local eMail&##x21;&##x29;
#1 - Always use a 'Positive Focus' –
When you use any type of testimonial or statement for proof, use a positive statement! You really don't want to set the prospects focus on a previous negative experience and then try to discuss your positive result! Always lead with the positive to get everyone in the right frame of mind; it works much better.

#2 - Include Pictures and Links –
When your audience can see a clear image of the person giving the testimonial or review, they're tendency is to trust them even more. Include links if you're selling to other business owners because they're going to want to see for themselves that the reference is real, still in business and perhaps even available for questions regarding your specialty services.

#3 - Pick People Who Fit into Your Profile of an  Ideal Customer  –
The very best testimonials, referrals or reviews come from people that your audience most relates to. If you know your audience, (and you should), then you will know who to pick.

#4 - Tell Emotional Stories That Connect –
When you can connect to your customers in a way that tugs on their emotions in a positive way, you'll really have the potential to influence their buying choices. You can get your former buyers to do that for you by creating a form asking the right questions and enabling them to answer them in their own way.

#5 - Find Influencers Who Resemble Your Ideal Customer Profile  –
The best influencer you can use might be seen as an expert to their audience who you share! These are the best types of influencers to use, so that when your audience sees them they automatically feel like they trust them. Plus, they already have an audience that includes your audience, so you'll both end up with new people.

#6 - Be Sure to Use Several Types of Social Proof –
There are experts, influencers, related service providers, and users that make up the totality of customers you've had, and of course, friends. All these types of social proof work very well to tell your story and promote your service to your ideal audience in a way that resonates with them. You don't have to pick just one either.

SOCIAL PROOF - ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL&##x21; - BUT EACH IS VALUABLE
SOCIAL PROOF - ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL! - BUT EACH IS VALUABLE
Using social proof the right way in your marketing strategies requires a little thought and work on your part. You want to make it a habit to ask for referrals, testimonials and reviews. Ask for reviews or shares on social media. Engage with your audience and engage with your customers. The more you do that, the more natural it will become. And, best of all, the more effective it will become!.
