Are You Marketing to Your Ideal Prospects?
Are You Sure You Are Marketing to
Your Ideal Prospects?
Post #2:
Your business exists to solve customer problems that they can't
or don't want to handle! If you can do that effectively and produce
a satisfied consumer, you're guaranteed to see your business grow.
However, if you miss the mark, you won't see the business growth
you want.
>>> So how do you know if you're marketing to the right
prospects?
Almost everything will originally revolve around this basic business' "Ideal Customer Profile"!
>>> This "ICP" is the description of an "imaginary" single customer who is the ideal target market for your professional cleaning specialties. This profile matches market categories whose needs for your services are almost a perfect match to your capabilities!
>>> Special Note:
Even if you've already developed your "Ideal Customer
Profile", remember that it is an ongoing work in progress!
From time to time, you have to look at data and update your
'ICP' to make sure you're still marketing to the
"Ideal Customers or Prospects" in the right way.
>>> Note: Once you have a solid idea of who your customer is,
ask yourself, "Do my offerings help them to solve a specific
problem?" The best services or packages of specialty services
are those that save time, money, or work.
**# Ongoing Customer Feedback Is Key
>>> Another way to tell whether you're marketing to the right
"Customer Profile" is to ask or survey for customer feedback.
Keep lines of communication with your prospects open and
interact with them wherever possible to gain an understanding
of how they view your company and your services.
>>> There are many methods for getting feedback from your lists
besides email.
*** You can run surveys on social media,
*** You can hold focus groups via webinars, interact in social
media groups,
*** You can reach out to customers individually by phone or text
at key points in the buying cycle.
*** If you listen well to your response, they'll tell you exactly whether
your services are a good match for them.
Valuable Tips on Targeting Your Market
**#1 - Segment Your Markets by Categories or Profiles
(a key step to consider! )
>>> You might consider having different packages of services
for different categories or profiles of prospects.
In this case, it might help to "segment your lists. You can create
two or more customer profiles and market your services
to them accordingly.
**#2 - Narrow It Down
>>> You may face issues because even your ''ICP" is too broad!
Don't be afraid to be specific. The more you can narrow each
segment down to one individual, the more focused (& successful)
your marketing will be.
**#3 - Try Different Communication Channels
>>> You may have the right market but you're using the wrong channels
to reach them. Find out how your lists like to discover new services
and where they hang out online. Consider investing a bit marketing
in these channels.
Special Note: Your business can't be all things to all people,
nor should it be. Instead, you should focus your energy on only those
people who need your special services!
