CAUTION! Wine Stains Aren't So Easy To Remove!
by Jim Pemberton

Just this morning I received an email from a fine fabric specialist
that I responded to and felt all of our readers could benefit from.

It goes like this:
Jim:

I had a customer bring in a light brown cord (cotton) cushion
cover w/ a large wine stain (purple). The customer had already
put a great deal of salt on the stain. I had her sign a release.
What would you recommend? The cover is in good shape. I
tested the dye for both water and dry cleaning solvent and there
was not any bleeding.
Thank you

Bugs, Rugs, and Storage
by Lisa Wagner - the "Rug Chick"

It's that time of year - the time for calls about moths and
carpet beetles eating customers' rugs.

If you don't know what to do when these rugs come into your
shop, or what to recommend to panicked rug owners who
call you - now you can!

My latest Rug Chick post lays out how to handle infested rugs,
and also gives tips on properly storing rugs so you don't have a
nightmare of unwrapping a rug after years and seeing it eaten
away into nothing.

STOP DABBLING! -- DO SOMETHING!
by Lee Pemberton

Have you tried the S.A.F.E. - - " Simple, Affordable, Fast
& Effective" Urine Odor Control Services concept yet?

One of my readers just told me: "No, I just dabbled with it a
bit, but nothing really seemed to quite work for me."

Dabbled? Hey, Guys!, nothing will ever work if all you do is "dabble"
in it. In fact, dabbling is just another word for "fear." You are saying,
"I am afraid to commit myself to something, so I will just dabble.
This way, if it doesn't work, I didn't really fail!"

Here is the problem with Dabbling (Click to read more)...
