How I Get More Done Each Day
Lee Pemberton

My secret is a list that helps me get more things done every day! Here are the simple steps I use . . .

#1- Write it down! Always make a list of the things you need to get done for each day. CAUTION! Don't create a wish list!

#2- Split the list! Use 'Must, Should, and Want' to-dos. By prioritizing your lists it allows you to chip away, while seeing progress along the way.

#3- Know the consequences! Think about what would/could happen if you don't complete the 'Must Do' items on your list. When you are aware of the potential consequences not completing the must do items, it helps to remind us the importance of the task at hand.

#4- Set time limits! By setting a time limit for tasks, it helps to motivate and keep you connected to your list. A time limit will help stop procrastination before it begins to sabotage your efforts.

Try it, but don't neglect step #1 -- Write it down -- if you can't, you really don't know what you want to get done!

Let me know how this works for you. It's simple, but powerful.
