Work To Be Effective First
Lee Pemberton

Here is a powerful formula to help you guide your business in today's environment!

You already know that you only have 24 hours in the day, and in order to be sure you're truly making the most out of each day, you must pick and choose activities that are going to best help you reach your goals.

Unfortunately, it is very easy to work hard all day, and not get anywhere because you're working on the wrong things. Chasing your tail is exhausting.

The Key Is To Remember . . .
Doing the right things is being effective!
Doing things right is being efficient.

In today's marketplace, always work to be effective first. Then, be sure you're doing the activities that you have determined to be the most effective, in the most efficient way.

  • Think systems, rather than tactics
It is very easy to hear or read a few tips and ideas, and then try to use them. The problem is that your business can't grow with a few tips alone. You need effective and consistent systems, for operations as well as marketing.

Be cautious of grabbing every "hot" tip you hear being pushed on you. An effective system is made up of a number of different parts that must be worked on, tested, improved and fine-tuned by you. Things may work for someone else and not work for you.

Finally, continuously re-evaluate your time as well as the results that you're getting. If it is not effective in bringing in what you expect, that system needs to be improved or eliminated even if it is efficient!
