A Heartfelt Thanksgiving Message From Lee & Jim Pemberton
You, our customers, readers & friends account for 100% of our sales and profits. Yet we feel sometimes that we spend a lot of money and time beating the bushes for new customers and, perhaps not enough time thanking you for your business! Additionally, we need to thank our valuable and at times, under-appreciated vendors that make it possible for us to stock top quality products that you, our customers purchase to satisfy your customers who in turn, rely on your services while expecting only the best. An important lesson that Jim & I learned from my mother was to say "thank you" when someone did something nice. In today's hectic world, we too frequently tend to give lip service to saying thank you to our customers, by using phrases like "Thank you and have a nice day." But after using that same phrase repeatedly, it can sound - well, not quite heartfelt. Believe me, that is NOT the case here at Pembertons! It has been our experience that most people tend to complain more than they praise. But praising, or saying "thank you" helps in so many ways. We find that it makes us feel better to tell you, our customers, readers & vendors "Thank You". Actually, we continue to receive more than we could ever give you, and we are very thankful for your continuing support.. We have learned that giving thanks can and does build and reinforce relationships - both business and personal. we continue to see how the attitude of thankfulness and appreciation promotes growth, encourages teamwork and expresses ones commitment of caring. Please take a few moments to reflect on all the things you have to be thankful during this THANKSGIVING SEASON. And, again - Thank You, Lee & Jim |
